It works well as a boost for low output single coil pickups to get the amp and speaker into breakup. Higher drive levels add more distortion while retaining excellent touch sensitivity.
The HI gain setting introduces more distortion from the pedal starting with some good tube crunch heading to a full lead tone via the drive knob. The output control can be used to balance the output level with the rest of the signal chain. The remaining three knobs control bass, middle and treble EQ for a wide range of different tones.
This pedal works equally well with a conventional guitar amp and pedals as well as on the front end of digital amp modelers, cabinet simulators and IR’s.

If you live in the U.S. and wear medium, a large will fill you perfectly. I wear large and the “large” is objectively a medium in the chest arms and neck. Fix your sizes.

Looks Sharp! Stiff, Balloon Comfort!

I purchased the PJ PAUL JONES Men's Oxford Button-Down Shirt as a gift, and it comes with a mix of strengths and trade-offs. The buttons are plentiful and high quality, and the inclusion of a couple of spare buttons is a thoughtful touch. The color is a deep, rich shade just as I hoped, giving the shirt a sharp, professional appearance. The fabric has a noticeable texture that looks like cotton, but the heavier thread count gives it a sturdier, more rugged feel, (almost outdoorsy) rather than the soft, premium cotton I expected. My biggest concern is that it may feel scratchy against the skin and less comfortable for long hours of wear. The shirt is also quite boxy in shape, with little to no side curve, which limits ease of movement and can cause it to crease or untuck when bending or sitting. Overall, it’s a durable, well-constructed shirt with a polished look, but comfort and fit may be an issue if you prefer softer fabric and a more tailored, flexible cut.
